Alright, I got my new iPhone 4 and…well…it’s not too different from the iPhone 3Gs or 3G. Still has awesomeness with a few new features, but overall I’m underwhelmed. The statement, “This changes everything…again,” is fairly optimistic considering we still can’t see flash on websites. However, it does provide some additional potential for the future of apps.
Here’s my rundown of the new and best features, why it belongs on the FiveStar pedestal, and my comparison to the other top phones out there:
Main Features
This adds a fun “new” way to communicate. Actually, face to face communication has existed since the dawn of man, but this is a streamlined, easy way to have face to face communication from miles away. You don’t need any special app and in my experience, you don’t notice or need much buffering at all. Just push the button, they accept, and bing-bang-boom. You’re using FaceTime with the best of ‘em.
